Old MacDonald had a farm and your child can be a part of it. From the cow to the barn cat to the messy pigs, the farmyard bustles with life. Each class is a new adventure for students as we have fun with dramatic play, story enactment, visual arts, music, and movement. Think of it as a little bit of acting, a little bit of singing, a little bit of dancing, and a whole lot of fun.  Adults come along for the fun in the 2 – 3 year old class.

Super Story (Ages 6 - 8)

In each of us resides a super hero. Become that super hero! Students will create alter-egos, design their own super hero costume and ultimately save the world…or put on a mini-play with other super heroes for family and friends. We will use theater games and exercises to explore the basics of acting while learning ensemble building skills and gaining self confidence. Up up and away!

Make a Scene (Ages 9 - 11)

Ages 9 – 11 yr      Mondays 5:45 – 6:45        $80

This fun format introduces students to warm-ups, stage direction, theater etiquette, character analysis, scene work, and more while learning ensemble-building skills and gaining self-confidence.  Discover how to use your body and voice to create a convincing character, improve your ability to communicate emotions on stage and work together to tell a story.  Students will work as an ensemble to perform a scene from a play.

Musical Theater (ages 6 - 8 & 9 - 11)

Ages 6 – 8 yr       Tuesdays 4:30 – 5:30           $80

Ages 9 – 11 yr     Tuesdays 5:45 – 6:45           $80

This class introduces vocal technique, movement, and acting skills through some of Broadway’s most popular musicals. Working on material from the Great White Way will build the confidence and skill of young performers.  Students will put their singing, dancing, and acting skills together to present a Broadway performance for family and friends on the last day of class.  Explore the magic of musical theater!
