Box Office and House Management Representatives

We are currently seeking technicians for the 13-14 season.  Technicians are responsible for the set up, the running and the tear down of technical elements used in our Musical Mainstage and SideNotes Series, and are also utilized for setting up events held by our guest rentals.   Working primarily afternoons, evenings and weekends, this position requires a strong level of problem-solving and technical theatre experience.

Technical theatre experience (2-3 years preferred)
Basic knowledge of sound and lighting equipment
Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs
Available 3-20 hours per week (hours vary depending on performance schedule)

Teaching Artists

Sunset Playhouse School for the Arts offers a wide variety of performing arts classes for all ages and all
interest levels taught by the area’s top professional teaching artists.

As a growing company we are always looking for experienced, energetic, skilled, teachers to join our
organization so that they can be a positive influence in the lives of children ages 3 - 15. Currently we are
looking for instructors for our summer camps. Instructors are needed June 11 – August 3 for a variety of
teaching opportunities. Teaching commitment ranges from 2 hours per day, ½ day, or full day for one or
two weeks at a time depending on course assignment.

Teachers needed in: drama, improvisation, readers theatre, musical theater, preschool theater,
playwriting and others.

The Playhouse has always been a teaching theatre, and our innovative approach to fun and engaging theatre education for all ages through our School for The Arts offers intern opportunities throughout the year.  Work with professionals in any of our classes or lend your hand in producing our bug in a rug Children's Theater series.  Contact Education Director Erika Navin at for more details.
