Sunset Playhouse is a 501(C)3 non-profit theatre located in Elm Grove. Under professional direction, an eight show season is produced on our mainstage and additional performances are showcased in our studio theatre. All productions come together with the efforts of volunteers from throughout the greater Milwaukee area. With comedy, drama, and musicals, the Sunset stages are an entertainment powerhouse. Sunset also offers performing arts classes for children and adults through our Sunset School for the Arts. Taught by professional personnel, the classes provide a disciplined, positive program that instills confidence in students.

Sunset Playhouse has been a community theatre for over forty years and was the first theatre in the state to be built by a volunteer group. The foundation of the organization is based on an active and diverse pool of volunteers working alongside paid professionals.

Each mainstage production offers a high profile marketing and public relations opportunity for corporations to partner with Sunset as a sponsor. Become a Season Supporter, Producer, Director, or Playwright and receive benefits for your employees, opportunities to entertain clients, and promotional value through marketing opportunities. You will be connecting your company to a highly affluent and educated audience. Each Sunset production is expected to reach between 3,500 to 5,250 patrons from the greater Milwaukee and Waukesha areas. Our advertising list includes thousands of families from the community.
